With Halloween next week, I have quickly realized that the holidays are approaching with my wedding riding swiftly on its heels. Ah! How is that possible?! On November 3rd, we are in double digits! As I have started thinking about and planning for the holidays, I thought about sending out Christmas cards to our family. I had three purposes for these cards: 1) to act as a save the date, 2) to share our new address and 3) to highlight the major points of this huge year for us! I knew that I wanted to share photos of us in the card, rather than just a generic holiday card, especially since we have just recently had our engagement pictures taken. Beginning my search for cards, I jumped online and headed to Minted.com. After looking at all of the templates, I decided that I wanted to go with a “landscape-oriented” picture on the front and a smaller picture with a paragraph of our year on the back. I can’t wait to share them with you when they come in! Since some of you may be looking for Christmas cards too, I wanted to share 6 of my favorites with you. Also, Minted is currently offering 15% off (code: JOY17) on their Holiday cards just to give you another push to grab these while you can!

Merry Christmas Sparkle Snow (25 at $2.60 each)

I love the simplicity and rose gold foil on this card! For 25 cards, the cost is $2.60 per card, but the price per card decreases as you purchase more cards.

God’s Blessings (25 at $2.60 each)

The picture we are using for the front of our card has a lot of green to it, so we wouldn’t be able to use this for our card, but I loved the greenery as well as the saying on this one. This reminds me so much of a chalkboard, so if you are into chalkboard sayings, you will love this one! Something that I love about Minted is that you get to choose different sizes, like postcard, a petite (4.25” x 6”) and classic (7” x 5”). They also have different color options to choose from in case you aren’t into a given color!

Merry + Bright (25 at $2.64 each)

Something else that I am really into this year is hand lettering. I love the hand lettered “Merry + Bright” on this card, as well as the fact that it comes in foil. Another great thing about their cards is that you can also customize the silhouette of the card – square edges, round, etc.

Doodle Snowflake Holiday Ornament Cards (25 at $2.96 each)

These are my absolute favorite! They are so unique and would be the perfect addition to your loved one’s tree. You could even laminate these if giving to grandparents or someone who will want to keep it for years. You can place a photo on the front and the back, plus they come in several different colors and come with the precut ribbon to turn it into an ornament. The only issue with these is that they may require additional postage depending on the size of the envelope.

Sweeping Rejoice (25 at $2.60 each)

Once again, this card drew me in because of the hand lettered “Rejoice.” I also love the red font, instead of the foiled look on this card.

Greenery Wreath (25 at $2.60 each)

My last favorite had to have a monogram on it somewhere, of course! I love monograms and love to incorporate them into my cards. The thank you notes for my wedding have our monogram on them. All the heart eyes! I love how your last initial can be incorporated into the wreath! These are super cute since it only comes in foil, but the metallic color also determines the color of the card stock and each color theme compliments each other perfectly!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can’t wait to share our cards with you.

Do you send Christmas Cards? What do you share on yours? Which is your favorite Minted card?
