Favorite Makeup Products

The perfect place to find the links to all of my favorite makeup products, and the reasons why I like them!

Hello Gorgeous!

I have really gotten into Instagram Stories lately. One of my favorite girls to watch is Lauren McBride. Recently, she shared about a post on her blog that houses all of her favorite makeup products and why she loves them. I decided that I wanted to create a similar page for you all. On this page, I will share all of my favorite makeup products, which I will update at least quarterly. This isn’t my current makeup routine, as I will be sharing more than one products in some of these categories. These are just some of my all-time favorite makeup products and more recent finds that I am obsessed with. However, if you want a current makeup routine video, let me know in the comments below and I will get that up for you!

L’Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Correct Anti-Redness PrimerI have been using this primer for years! I have very rosey cheeks and found that my foundations weren’t covering the redness like I wanted. I picked this bad boy up and I have never look back!

E.L.F. Mineral Infused Face PrimerI received this in an E.L.F. box from Influenster, so I decided to give it a try. It is a silicone-like primer, so it does a great job of filling in pores and creating a smooth canvas. My face always looks so smooth after I use it.

L’Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation in Soft Ivory – I love the glowy medium coverage that this foundation provides!

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream in Fair – I wore this foundation for my wedding. It is so long lasting, great coverage and a beautiful finish!

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer in Fair – I recently discovered this concealer and I am in love, just in time for all of my stores to take it off the shelves. Ugh! It is very light coverage, but perfect for light makeup days!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Fair – This concealer has a doe foot, unlike the other two. This one is a light/medium coverage. It blends on top of all foundations, beautifully!

L.A. Girl HD Pro Concealer in Porcelain – This one has a fuller coverage than the other two concealers, but it isn’t heavy.

L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder in Alabaster – I have been using this powder for years and I love it! It gives a natural finish to the skin without being too cakey.

Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder in Universal Translucent – While deciding on my wedding makeup, I picked up this powder to use as an undereye setting powder. I love it! I love the finish that it gives to the skin and it keeps my concealer from creasing. YES!

L’Oreal GlamBronze Bronzer in Light – I love this bronzer for my fair skin, PLUS it is a huge pan! This was a limited edition product, that I really hope L’Oreal brings back because I don’t know what I will do when I run out. It is the perfect color – neutral, just enough color, provides a light contour too!

Pixi by Petra Beauty Bronzer in Summertime – This bronzer is a bit darker than the L’Oreal one, but it is a very similar formula. It looks shimmery in the pan, but gives a very natural glow to the skin. The only downside is that the pan is SUPER small!

Makeup Revolution The Matte Blush in Nude – I love this blush for light makeup days, because it is the perfect mauve-nude. It is a pigmented blush; the matte finish surprisingly gives a natural look to the skin.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Rose Gold – For darker skintones, this would be perfect as a highlighter. For fair complexions, it is perfect as a glowy blush. I use a light hand so that it is a light glow and not shimmery.

Tarte 12-Hour Blush in Paaarty – This blush is such a pretty pink color and it is super pigmented!

theBalm Cosmetics Mary-Lou ManizerThis is the perfect highlighter for fair skintones! It is my absolute favorite. You can apply a little for a light sheen or a lot for a popping glow!

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter Powder in Radiant Lights – It is very similar to Mary-Lou, with a neutral undertone instead of a champagne-gold one. It isn’t as “bright” as Mary-Lou, but it is still a very glowy highlighter.

Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow PaletteThis palette has the perfect shades – base shades, transitions, crease. This is great for a beginner too, because the shadows are buttery and blend like a dream!

Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Smoldering Satin – The almost-hubs got me this eyeshadow for Christmas, because he saw it on Facebook and liked it. Lol! I had my eye on these for awhile before, but never picked them up. Why did I wait so long?! These are the easiest way to wear glitter and they look so beautiful on the eyes!

Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black – This is the perfect black! The tip is great for getting a thin line or for creating a thick wing.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in Nude – I love this eyeliner for brightening up my eyes by applying it to my waterline.

L.A. Girl Glide Gel Liner in Very Black – This is the only black liner that I have found that is pigmented enough to last on my waterline all day!

Clinique Quickliner for Eyes in Smoky Brown – In middle school, I was given this eyeliner as a gift. I love it because of its versatility. It works perfectly in a subtle or dramatic look! It is more of a gray brown than a true brown – perfect for blue and green eyes.

L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara in Blackest Black – favorite drugstore mascara and a dupe of Better than Sex

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in Blackest Black – The brush does a great job of separating the lashes, while providing lots of volume!

Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara in Black – If I could use one mascara for the rest of my life, this would be it! It adds so much length and volume, without clumping.

Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara in Extra Black – the perfect lower lash mascara

NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Taupe/Ash – Great for natural brows!

L.A. Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil in Taupe – I use this everyday to fill in my brows. It is a great match for my brows. The color is more warm-toned than gray like most taupe shades are.

Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara in Browny Brows – This gel is tinted with little fibers in it, so it makes my brows look extra full when I use it!

Lord and Berry Ultimate Lipliner in Nude – I love this lipliner paired with the bareMinerals gloss and with the Wet n Wild lip color. It is a great rose-y nude!

Wet n Wild Perfect Pout Gel Lip Liner in Red the Scene – perfect true red liner

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lip Liner in Mauve Shimmer – While I have been choosing the Lord and Berry lipliner more lately, this one is my go-to when I choose a very mauve lippie.

Wet n Wild Naked Protest Velvet Matte Lip Color in Looking for Truffle – I wore this lip color on my wedding day. It is a great dusty rose-mauve color that pairs so well with any look!

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Honeycomb – Over the summer, this was my go-to nude lipstick, especially when paired with Buxom’s White Russian.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Airy Fairy – This is the perfect “my lips, but better” color. Everyone should own it!

bareMinerals Gen Nude Buttercream lipgloss in Sugar – I wore this overtop my lipstick for my wedding day. It gave a great sheen to my lips, but it lasted all day! The only issue is that this gloss is a little sticky, so don’t wear it on windy days!

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss in Rose and Shine – Although this is a plumping gloss, it isn’t painful, but it does make your lips more plump. It is a light rose color that is perfect for natural days!

Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian – This is another not-painful plumper with a beautiful nude color!

What are some of your favorite makeup products? I would love to try them out!
