Today I had the wonderful pleasure of working with the beautiful girl behind A Seersucker State of Mind. Thank you so much Mikayla for giving me the opportunity to participate in this link-up! Another thank you goes to the beautiful ladies at The Flying Fox and The Dainty Dahlia. The Flying Fox created the beautiful headwrap for these photos. The Dainty Dahlia crocheted this spring scarf for me and also worked as my photographer for this shoot. Interested in buying one of these products? Check them out on Instagram for more information. Now that the technicalities are out of the way, let’s get to the fun stuff.
I had so much fun with this shoot. When I first got the email about participating in this link-up, I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to talk about. Makeup is more of my thing than fashion is, but I think this outfit turned out pretty well. For this post, I want to show you how to style a plain chambray shirt for spring. I paired this chambray shirt from Old Navy with some bright blue Mossimo skinny jeans and multicolored flats. The denim and white headwrap added another element to the look with the anchors, which gave a touch of nautica since we are heading into spring&summer (beach weather!!!). The back of this headwrap is actually white with gold polka dots so it can easily be flipped around for a whole different look. The peachy-pink scarf adds color and texture to this mostly blue outfit.
